You can go to Tirana with direct flies from Roma, Milano, Venezia, Pisa, Verona, Bologna, Vienna, Frankfurt, Athens, Budapest, Londra, Pristina, Istanbul, Dortmund, Dussedorf, Hamburg, Bruxelles.

One of the most popular ways of reaching Albania is by ferry. Most of them depart from Italy and arrive at either Durrës, Vlora or Saranda, although some come from Greece too. Ferries for Durrës leave from Ancona, Bari and Trieste. If you go to Brindisi, you can catch a ferry to Vlora and Saranda. You can rich Albania by car, from Kosovo, Macedonia, Greece and Montenegro.

Visitors to Albania must obtain a visa from one of the Albanian diplomatic missions unless they come from one of the visa exempt countries or are qualified for visa-free entry. Entering with a passport is required. Passports must be valid for at least 3 months from the date of arrival.

What currency can I use in Albania?

The lek is the official currency of Albania, though the euro is widely accepted. You will get a better deal for things in general if you use lek. Accommodation is generally quoted in euros but can be paid in either currency.
